Official Rules

Draft template — populated with this edition’s real terms but not yet reviewed by an attorney. Have counsel licensed in your state review this before the giveaway goes live.
1. Sponsor
This sweepstakes (each dated edition, including SFLK-01, a “Giveaway”) is sponsored by SFLK, [LEGAL ENTITY PENDING FORMATION] (“Sponsor”, “SFLK”), of [SPONSOR STREET ADDRESS PENDING], Florida, USA. This section must name the registered entity and a real street address before any edition opens.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, except employees of Sponsor, their immediate families, and household members. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
3. Entry Period
Each edition has its own entry period and its own close date. The entry period for SFLK-01 runs until 2026-08-24. An edition closes on that date or when it reaches the capacity published on its page, whichever comes first. Entries received or postmarked after an edition has closed are not eligible for that edition.
Sponsor may run more than one edition at the same time, with overlapping and staggered entry periods. Where editions overlap, an entry earned while both are open counts toward both — see Sections 4 and 5.
4. How to Enter — Purchase
Any purchase in the SFLK shop earns entries at a flat rate of $1 = 5 entries, applied automatically at checkout. The rate is the same on every item, including bundles: a bundle is priced below the sum of its parts, and the saving is in the price rather than in a better entry rate. The VIP monthly subscription earns at $1 = 10 entries, applied automatically each billing cycle for as long as the subscription stays active. A purchase does not increase your odds of winning relative to a free entry of the same count — see Section 7.
Orders enter every edition that is open. Where more than one edition is accepting entries at the time of your order, the entries your order earns are credited in full to each of them — they are not divided between editions. An order earning 300 entries while two editions are open earns 300 entries in each, not 150 in each. The editions your order enters are fixed at checkout and shown to you before you pay; an edition closing while your payment is in progress does not remove entries you were already shown.
5. How to Enter — Free, No Purchase Necessary (AMOE)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, and date of birth on a 3″×5″ card or piece of paper, and mail it in a stamped envelope to:
SFLK ENTRY DEPT
[ADDRESS PENDING]
Each outer envelope receives 175 entries — the same number a $35 purchase earns. You may mail as many separate envelopes as you wish, and there is no limit on free entries. Each entry received this way is weighted identically to a paid entry in the drawing. Entries must be postmarked before the entry period closes and received within a reasonable time after.
Claiming a multiplier by mail. If an Entry Multiplier Promotion (Section 6) — including the Daily Boost — is running on the date your envelope is postmarked, hand-print “DAILY BOOST” in the lower-left corner of the outer envelope and the multiplier in effect on that postmark date will be applied to that envelope’s 175 entries, exactly as it would to a purchase. No purchaser can obtain a multiplier that a mail-in entrant cannot.
A mailed entry enters every open edition, on the same terms as a purchase. Where more than one edition is accepting entries on your postmark date, your envelope’s 175 entries are credited in full to each of them, and are not divided between editions. A purchase and an envelope reach the same number of editions and carry the same weight in each.
6. Entry Multiplier Promotions
From time to time, Sponsor may run promotions that multiply the entries earned on a specific item or across the shop for a limited time, including a recurring Daily Boost that applies a 30x entry multiplier to one item each day on a fixed, published rotation. Multiplier promotions are announced on the site and apply automatically to qualifying purchases made during the promotion window.
Every multiplier Sponsor offers is equally available without purchase. A mail-in entry postmarked on a day a multiplier is running receives that same multiplier when the envelope is marked as described in Section 5. Sponsor will not run a promotion that a mail-in entrant cannot claim.
The multiplier that applies to your order is fixed when your checkout is created. It is shown on your order before you pay and it does not change after that, even if the multiplier rotates while you are paying. Your quote is valid until the expiry time shown at checkout. If a rotation occurs between the moment your checkout was created and the moment your payment completes, the multiplier you were shown is the one applied — Sponsor absorbs the difference and will not reduce entries after payment. The same rule applies to a mailed entry by postmark date.
7. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for that edition, across both paid and free entry methods. Every entry — paid or mailed in — is weighted identically in the random drawing.
8. Prizes
The prize for SFLK-01 is The Aurora Build, with an approximate retail value (ARV) of [ARV PENDING]. Actual value may vary at time of award. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty from Sponsor. No cash alternative unless stated otherwise; Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
9. Winner Selection & Notification
One winner per edition will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries after the entry period closes. The drawing is conducted by [DRAWING ADMINISTRATOR — TO BE NAMED BEFORE THE FIRST DRAW]. Winners are contacted using the email address or mailing address provided at entry — never by social-media direct message as first contact. Sponsor will never ask a winner to pay a fee, tax, shipping charge or release fee of any kind to claim a prize. See Scam alert.
Response deadline and alternate winners. A selected winner must respond to the notification within 7 days of the date it is sent, and may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release before the prize is awarded. If a winner cannot be reached within that period, does not respond, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. Prizes are shipped within a reasonable period after eligibility is confirmed.
10. Winners List
The winner of each edition is published at sflk.example/winners. For a written list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
SFLK WINNERS LIST
[ADDRESS PENDING]
Requests must be received within 90 days of the date the relevant edition closed. Residents of Vermont may omit return postage.
11. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize. The approximate retail value stated for each edition is reported as income. Where the value of a prize is $600 or more, Sponsor is required to issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC, and the winner must supply a completed IRS Form W-9 — including a valid taxpayer identification number — before the prize is released. A winner who does not supply it forfeits the prize and an alternate may be selected.
12. Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants release Sponsor and its officers, employees and agents from any liability for loss, injury or damage arising from participation in the Giveaway or from acceptance, possession or use of a prize. Prizes are awarded “as is” and Sponsor makes no warranty, express or implied, beyond any manufacturer warranty that accompanies the prize.
13. Modification, Suspension and Force Majeure
If fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control — including acts of God, labour disputes, war, public-health emergency, or interruption of network or supplier service — corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of an edition, Sponsor may modify, suspend, extend or terminate that edition. If an edition is terminated before its close, Sponsor will award the prize by random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the point of termination, and will refund purchases made for that edition where it is practicable to do so.
14. Refunds and Entry Reversal
Merchandise purchases are governed by the shop’s Terms. Where an order is refunded, cancelled or charged back, the entries granted by that order are void and are removed from the entry pool. Entries cannot be reversed after the drawing for the edition they were entered into has taken place.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to a Giveaway shall be resolved individually, in a state or federal court located in [COUNTY PENDING] County, Florida, and entrants waive any right to participate in a class action. Entrants agree that any award is limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees.
16. General Conditions
- Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these rules, including use of bots, scripts, or multiple identities.
- Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or undeliverable entries.
- By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to the Giveaway.
17. Privacy
Information collected during entry is used to administer the Giveaway and is handled per SFLK’s Privacy Policy.
